Visit with EVO Oil Tasting at the Farm
Guided oil tasting at an ancient Apulian masseria with lunch
The masserie were rural buildings used as dwellings, animal shelter of the typical farms of Southern Italy.
The term derives from the word "masserie" (furnishings, furniture, tools of agricultural and pastoral use, grain stores, food stores for people and animals) that were stored and protected inside large, typical stone and/or brick buildings, where Agricultural Entrepreneurs, Farm Owners, peasants and shepherds lived.
Noble families built their farms fortified by boundary walls as a form of protection.
Today, masserie farms remain km0 production activities for oil, wine, vegetables and pastoralism.
A visit with oil tasting inside a typical masseria is a unique and unforgettable experience to try and enjoy in all senses.
