Short introduction to truffles and then set off down the paths through the vineyards and hazelnut groves, admiring the nature flourishing again in spring, intensely green and shady in the hot summer, with picturesque colours in autumn.
An expert will intrigue you with the history of the truffle from ancient times to the present day, arriving in the forest, named truffle-growing area, where the dog becomes the leader
We will follow it scrupulously up and down the paths of the undergrowth, until the precious truffle is found.
You will be able to admire all the enthusiasm of the trifolao and the dog to "identify and extract" without damaging the underlying nature and the fruitful body.
Suggested clothing:
It is advisable to bring individual trekking clothing.
Shoes suitable for uneven and possibly wet ground
Wear rain gear in bad weather
Take trekking poles on personal need

At the end of the route you can eventually buy the truffle, even the one found during the excursion with suggestions on how to preserve and consume it and where to go to taste it in affiliated premises, to capture the scents and flavors of fresh truffles
IL TRIFULAU
The trifulau knows the forest and in the season of the search, which ends on December 31st, together with his dogs, faithfully in the night search in the best truffle-grounds of the Langhe, Unesco heritage, the best truffles. Love and passion unveil the colors and scents of the forest tradition from 4.30 am until dawn.
