Discovering the Fossils of the Monferrato
A hiking trail among the vineyards will lead to the hill called Bricco Lu', 310 meters above sea level, with a fantastic 360-degree view of the recognized World Heritage viticultural landscapes all the way to the Alps.
Once upon a time (about 5 million years ago) this territory was covered by a tropical sea.
Following this, transfer to Asti and visit the Paleontological Museum inside the Michelerio Palace, where you can see fossils of the living organisms that inhabited the seas that covered our hills.
My name is Roberta and I am a hiking and nature guide.
Here's what my versatility represents over the years: thanks to a degree in foreign languages, I was able to work as an interpreter and translator for several years and then moved on to be a foreign salesperson in the wine business for many years allowing me to travel to Europe, Russia and the United States.
I have always had a great interest in the area, an interest that has led me to become qualified to accompany in our lands all those who want to appreciate the flora and fauna that surrounds us, as well as the history and local traditions of culinary and enogastronomic type, thanks also to an experience gained at ICIF (International Culinary School for Foreigners).
