Guided e-Bike Excursion in Maremma
A hike within everyone's reach in unspoiled nature: The Maremma Park, also known as Uccellina Park after the name of the green mountains that characterize its skyline affacing the sea and hiding prehistoric caves that have seen Homo sapiens and Homo neanderthalensis coexist; at the foot of the mountains one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, Collelungo, which still retains its naturalness.
Between the mountains and the beach a path through the fragrant Mediterranean scrub accompanies us finally to the crystal-clear sea, where we can enjoy a swim away from the crowds of tourists. The different return route will allow us to observe the Maremma cows grazing accompanied by calves as we cross the Pineta Granducale and if we are lucky we will be able to watch the Maremma bull grazing, a real colossus that sfires 1200 kilos in weight, the closest animal to the Aurochs, the wild bovine of the time of the ancient Romans now extinct.
All this riding a bicycle, with the air cooling us and accompanied by an Environmental Guide who will tell us about the History and Nature of this incredible and magical place.
We can also do the hike with muscle MTBs.
Activity also suitable for children and anyone in good physical shape.
