Description

You will be welcomed into the centuries-old olive grove that surrounds the ancient lookout tower and trulli where he now lives with his family.

During the walk through the olive grove, you will discover what a wonderful plant the olive tree is (whose DNA has the same number of chromosomes as the human body and with great adaptability, making it an extremely long-lived plant!). The principles of sustainable and synergistic soil management and polyconic vase pruning that respects the plant's needs and makes the olive grove more productive will be explained.

In the second part of the experience, you will be taught to appreciate the characteristics, both organoleptic and health, that differentiate a quality EVO oil from an ordinary olive oil.

During the oil tasting you will learn how to distinguish its scents and how to pair it with different types of food.

At the end of the oil tasting, you will enjoy the quality single-varietal oils produced by the family, accompanied by homemade bread and cherry tomatoes from the garden.

During this convivial time, you will have time to chat with the family to ask them all the questions you want!"

For the past few years, the family has moved to the countryside, where they have approached the world of olive oil to the point of obtaining membership in the National Register of Olive Oil Technicians and Experts.

They take personal care of their 520 olive trees producing monovarietal oils that enhance ancient and indigenous qualities of olives, for which they have received national and international awards and recognition.

They call themselves "agritetti".
