Description

Milan has always been characterized by a great passion for pastry.

The city of panettone has opened its doors to many pastry chefs, who, since the 19th century, in the shadow of the Madonnina have contributed to Milan's confectionery tradition.

A continuous challenge between historic upscale boutiques and colorful modern pastry shops to win the top spot in the list of best pastry shops.

You will have the opportunity to get to know these two realities, so different, but linked together by the love of high quality.

With the pastry tour in Milan you will have time to experience and learn about Milanese pastry thanks to an adventure between flavors and emotions.

Information

Possible tasting of:

  • Cannoncini - typical sweet of northern Italy and in particular of the area between Milan and Novara. Unmissable within the Sunday cabaret. A fragrant puff pastry, filled with custard or zabaglione. You will taste the best cannoncino in Milan.

  • Panettone - the symbol of Milan's confectionery tradition. Known throughout Italy and the world, the traditional Milanese panettone has raisins and candied fruit inside. On our tour, we will try panettone from a historic family-run bakery, which has been making high-quality artisan panettone since 1967.

  • Marron glacé -a very old, simple, but great-tasting dessert. Marron glacé is made from a carefully selected chestnut that is initially soaked for several days in water, then in a sugar syrup and, finally, glazed, to acquire that inimitable flavor.

  • Pastries -well known and appreciated throughout Italy. It is customary to bring them to Sunday lunch with the family. In various shapes, sizes, and colors, pastry chefs have invented a variety of them, and it is from mignon pastries that one understands the talent and creativity of a great chef.

  • Praline -are you a chocolate lover? You can't miss the fine Milanese pralines. Handmade chocolates filled with fruit or other chocolate. Simply irresistible.

It's a social experience.
