Description

Walking with the donkey means choosing to go at its pace.

It is a valuable experience for young and old, it trains empathy.
The donkey walks not to discover but to savor the essence of the place. Its continuous stopping is not just a need to stop to eat the morsel of grass, the donkey stops and looks into infinity.

Getting to know the donkey, its slow rhythms, velvety muzzle, big eyes and long ears.

It's a different way to spend time, in the midst of greenery, in the shade of chestnut groves, in every season, in an evocative place, among the Cimini Mountains, where the gaze is enraptured by the beauty of the panorama, from high above the Tiber Valley.

It is a beautiful sesation to feel part of nature and ... free as the "Donkeys in Freedom".

If you're not in a hurry, you're in the right place.

Expert's presentation

Andrea and Margaret have 14 donkeys and a mule, they take care of them on the family farm.

They know the woods of the Cimini Mountains and have recovered several trails and sites of interest.

They accompany groups into the woods, together with the tireless donkeys, for easy walks or real donkey treks to discover a magnificent and wild nature and small hidden gems.

In the Asineria you can work, care for the animals and refresh yourself under a tree or in the meadow.

There is no shortage of opportunities to light a fire and eat together in a spartan but richly stimulating and exciting environment.
