On the eastern slope among the pine forest of the Etna Park, facing the Taormina Riviera, the Gambino Vineyards are a pleasure for the eye and the palate.
They represent one of the best examples of high-altitude Etna vineyards: in an exclusive natural environment, 800 meters above sea level, the vineyards lie on sunny and ventilated terraces.
The characteristics of the soil give the wine, pleasant fruity aromas. Hints of red fruits, strawberries and raspberries, are accompanied by floral notes

Detailed programme
- The Etna Wine Tour experience begins aboard our 4x4 jeeps or 9-seater vans. Along the way, which will take us to the northern slope of Etna, an experienced guide will explain the stories and legends related to the Etnean villages and our volcano.
- At the heart of Etna we will enter the heart of our hike. A light trekking among Pines and Birches will lead us to the discovery of lunar landscapes with endless expanses of lava that are lost in the horizon of the volcano.We will walk on gigantic craters to reach their peaks and enjoy truly unique views. Equipped with flashlights and helmets we will go to discover an evocative volcanic cave to understand its formation its origins and history.
Wine Tasting
- After the excursion to the Volcano we will reach the Gambino Estate, an ancient wine estate on the slopes of Etna, the ideal conclusion to this journey to discover the treasures of Sicily.
- The tasting menu includes five types of white and red wines and rosés carefully selected by sommeliers to enhance and bring out the uniqueness of typical Sicilian products: appetizers, selection of cheeses, meat main course and side dish.
