Visit to "Savini" truffle hunters
The Savini Family has been dealing with truffles for 4 generations with passion and professionalism. In Tuscany we have fresh truffles all year round, but vary the type.
We want to introduce you to this precious tuber, the dogs, tools and how to harvest.
Guests are welcomed into our Savini Museum where we retrace the milestones of the family's history related to the world of truffles : everything you need to know about this strange "mushroom."
During the presentation we offer you a glass of prosecco or wine and taste some typical products.
The visit takes place by appointment in the morning or the afternoon, lasts about 1½ hours, and is available in both Italian and English.
Products and even fresh truffles from the day can be purchased after the visit.
