Gold Room in Villa Firmino

Description of the structure

In San Damiano d'Asti, in the center of the Alfieri Hills, between Langhe, Monferrato and Roero, stands Villa Firmino.
It is named after the village in which it is located, but also after the little mouse created by the imagination of American writer Sam Savage. Born in a Boston bookstore, the thirteenth child of a mother who had only twelve mammaries, Firmino, in order to survive begins to gnaw books and, page after page, learns to read and has incredible adventures.

One of our strong points are our breakfasts, which we offer sweet or savory, based on local excellence: cold cuts and cheeses are produced by local artisans, baked goods are provided by our trusted baker or homemade, and the fruit is in season.
For those who prefer them, there are also packaged products. 
Upon request, we procure food for allergic or intolerant guests.

The library lounge is Firmino's realm, where you can read by the lit fireplace, perhaps while enjoying a glass of Piedmontese wine. 

Those who feel like  taking home the book they are reading will be able to do so on the condition that they leave another one in exchange.
All volumes from Firmino's extensive library will be available to browse in  your room or, during the warm season, in our park dedicated to Piedmontese authors.

The towels are all white, embroidered in the colors that characterize each room, different for each guest.
We also provide bathrobe and slippers.
Bed linen is part of the family trousseau.

Villa Firmino has a seasonal in-ground swimming pool.
In addition to sun loungers and deck chairs, we have set up spots for conversation, reading or relaxation in the shade of the porch.
We also provide our guests with terry towels for the pool.
