Description

Accompanied by the Environmental Hiking Guide of the Marche Region, dedicated only to us and our fellow travelers, we will tackle this itinerary:

1. Mount Pietralata
2. Testa del Duce: breathtaking view overhanging the Cadigliano
3. Furlo Gorge next to river
4. Passage under the Furlo Tunnel (76 DC)

We reach an exceptionally valuable vantage point, which allows us to observe from above the entire Furlo Gorge, with the sheer walls of the Paganuccio mountain opposite (armed with binoculars, it is also possible to catch a glimpse of the area where the golden eagles present in the reserve nest), the characteristic green-blue waters of the Candigliano River and, in the background, all the main peaks of the Pesaro Apennines.

During the hike we will take a well-deserved break to eat our picnic lunch.
