Information
The flyboard is a piece of equipment consisting of a board and various components with which flyboarding is practiced-a sport that originated in France in the fall of 2012.
The flyboard allows people to perform evolutions on the surface of the water thanks to a jet of pressurized water powered by a jet ski.
A flyboard is normally composed of the following components:
- a flyboard;
- a pair of wakeboard-type boots;
- one rotation system, equipped with plastic bearing balls (in order to prevent corrosion from water);
- two hoses with handles (optional) to be inserted on the arms;
- a hose that feeds a jet of pressurized water, from the jet ski to the flyboard;
- a 180° curved tube that is used to reverse the flow of water from the bike;
- a tapered outlet system to be able to direct and accelerate the flow of water from the turbine.
