Description

Excursion to the highest active volcano in Europe.

During this tour on Etna, through routes away from the main tourist routes, we will have the opportunity to reach the Belvedere della Valle del Bove, a huge caldera on which the geological history of the volcano is imprinted.

On the way back we will face the descent along  some of the sandy gullies that cross different lava fields of the volcanic edifice.

During the day we will enter inside a lava flow tunnel originated in the lavas of the 1792 eruption.

Easily passable, it represents one of the most spectacular and least known natural phenomena related to Etna volcanism.
