The Spa of the Merano Thermal Baths offers a wide range of exclusive treatments such as malt and hop peeling, hot herb tampons and buttermilk bath, the latter much loved by Empress Sissi. Already centuries ago, Merano established itself as a renowned health resort in South Tyrol, chosen by many European noblemen and writers such as Kafka, Zweig and Morgenstern for their spa treatments. Equally extensive is the range of medical treatments on offer, including inhalations with thermal water, therapeutic baths and physiotherapy.

Sports fans can only be enthusiastic about the wide offer of the Fitness Center. For the treatments in the Spa & Vital Center mainly South Tyrolean products such as apples, grapes, whey, chestnuts or hay are used, in addition to the apple cosmetics line of the Merano Thermal Baths.
Matteo Thun, famous designer and interior designer of the Spa, has created an oasis of well-being in the heart of the city. The glass cube with its clean-cut architecture offers an unparalleled panoramic view of the Gruppo del Tessa, giving guests the feeling of being immersed in nature.
There are 15 indoor and outdoor pools available to visitors all year round, as well as the sauna world with eight saunas and steam baths. The thermal park of Terme Merano is a true experience in close contact with nature. Mediterranean palms, ancient and precious trees, the large water lily lake. From the beginning to the end of summer you have ten pools for swimmers and non-swimmers. The Kneipp course is perfect for cooling off when the temperatures get hot.
