Expert's presentation

A guided tour in 4x4 will take you to discover the marble quarries, where small men move huge blocks of stone. For over 2000 years nature and man's work have been working together here to provide the raw material for the architectural and artistic works that make us famous all over the world. We will take you to a different and fascinating reality, made of hard work and genius, ancient sweat and modern technology. You will discover the quarries, techniques and history, of course, but also the millenary villages of the quarrymen, their habits, their language, food and daily life.
