A day on board the Tai Pan - Elba Island
Once we leave the port, passing under the villa that hosted Napoleon in his period of exile Elban, we will head to some of the most beautiful spots on the island, the Samson's Stone Arch, the trap of the Enfola, theGulf of Procchio, etc.
We will try to convey our love for this island with its crystal clear waters perfect for snorkeling. Listening to good music, tasting some typical products of our sea and sipping a good glass of wine, we will show you some glimpses of an island with a thousand faces
For lunch we will drop anchor in a quiet bay, where I will personally cook for you what the morning fish market wants to give us. Simple dishes, which taste of the sea, combined with personally selected wines.
We will return to port when the sun begins to set....
The TaiPan is a classic example of the American trawler, a very particular type of boat, which makes wood its main feature, in addition to the large living spaces both inside and outside, with its large sundecks. My family has been taking care of this boat since before I was born and it has been the means of our every sea voyage.
Perfect for a family, but also for a group of friends. We can organize special events.
I undertook this small activity while I was studying Architecture in Florence. We restored my grandfather's old boat and turned it into a means to let all those who love the sea as a child live my sea experiences as a child.
We have been carrying on this little passion in the summer months for seven years now and we would like to expand our small network of enthusiasts. Our goal is to be able to share our concept: Navigate Slow. Not only through navigation but the transmission of small recipes, glimpses of incredible views and new encounters as only at sea can be done.
