Flower Trail
A hike along the"Sentiero dei Fiori" which crosses the places where the Grande Guerra in Adamello.
The route follows, in fact, the route that the Alpini used during the First World War to connect the posts installed on the ridge. Two suspended walkways more than 50 m long, the various galleries dug into the rock, the wooden walkways and the granite steps characterize this hike.
An itinerary of great scenic, naturalistic and historical interest, which winds around 3000 metres above sea level on the crests between Castellaccio and Pisgana, ancient border line with the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
It is possible to make the excursion starting from Passo Tonale using the lifts of the Presena glacier with a round trip from Passo del Castellaccio to Passo del Lago Scuro or starting from the Mandrone refuge, reachable in 2.30 hours from Val di Genova, with a round trip from Passo del Lago Scuro to Passo del Pisgana, this alternative is longer overall but faces the less crowded part of the crest.
