Description of the structure

The Cascina is situated in a natural amphitheatre, surrounded by vineyards and meadows at the foot of the ancient Castle.

Restored by the Savoys in 1849, it was used for wine production, still the main activity today.A part of the historical building after a sensitive and careful restoration, has been transformed into rooms and apartments for guests.

The wooden floors, the large fireplace, and the furniture of the '800 reflect the ancient peasant traditions of Piedmont.

The cosy atmosphere of the farmhouse  it is the ideal starting point to discover the landscape, culture and traditions of the area.

Presentation

An ancient barrel where for years the wine has been transformed into BAROLO, is now a romantic sauna

Once we enter, the scent of wine brings us back to the memory of more than 40 vintages, and of course after the sauna a good glass of wine still makes us dream. A unique corner of Italy that contains unique excellence, often only whispered in the ear as secrets from gourmets around the world

Here rules the NEBBIOLO, with its noble sons the BAROLO and the BARBARESCO protected by castles, towers and fortified villages that bring us back to a Middle Ages of struggles and splendor: pilgrims, salt merchants, captains of fortune, crusaders, Benedictine monks all trampled this land leaving an inheritance, a sign, a legacy.
