The tasting will take place only after a guided tour of the winery's historic buildings: the baglio federiciano, the baglio dei ricordi, the historic garden and the ancient 18th-century palmento.
Afterwards, you can take a seat in the cellar for a tasting of three wines paired with simple traditional country dishes: local cured meats and cheeses, tumminia bread with olive oil, "impanate" and "vota vota" of vegetables and ricotta cheese, olives, and salad.
Building on a long family tradition, the historic winery has recovered the lost taste of Moscato di Siracusa and renewed the more established taste of Nero d'Avola.
The winery s vineyards grow luxuriantly in heterogeneous soils in which the limestone component, which gives delicacy to the Moscato grapes, alternates with the volcanic component, which instead reinforces the full-bodied character of the reds and Nero d'Avola.
