DOCUMENTS AND CUSTOMS FORMALITIES
A passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of departure is required. For Italian citizens, until June 30, 2021, an entry visa is no longer required for stays of less than 15 days. For stays longer than 15 days or for multiple entries it remains necessary, and is granted at the airport of arrival, subject to authorization from the immigration office. In these cases, 2 passport-size photographs and visa authorization issued by the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam will be required. This document will be sent by the Vietnamese supporting tourist agency prior to the departure date and forwarded by us via e-mail to visitors. In the absence of this documentation, the chosen airline may refuse boarding. Upon arrival, the Arrival/Departure Card form (to be kept and resubmitted upon departure) must be presented to the police authorities, duly completed
THE TIME OF DAY
Hands ahead 6 hours during solar time, 5 hours instead when daylight saving time is in effect in Italy.
CLOTHING
It is incumbent to respect local customs regarding clothing, especially at religious sites, take off your shoes when entering temples and wear appropriate clothing. Comfortable and practical, light clothing is suggested, without forgetting some heavier garments (depending on the places visited and the seasons) and a light raincoat.
