The museum holds the largest collection of the master's works: sketches, preparatory drawings, tempera paintings, but above all the original life-size plaster models that the master had made in his studio in Rome and that were brought to Possagno after his death.
A few steps from the museum you can admire the imposing Temple designed by Canova himself as a gift for his hometown.
The interior holds the remains of the great sculptor.
