Oil Mill Visit with Dinner-Tasting PDO Olive Oil on the Hills
Visit of a historic oil mill located in a 1660 farmhouse, in the typical style of Marche country houses, where Cartoceto PDO oil is produced.
The owner will explain the process of milling and extracting the oil through the classic, traditional process of first cold pressing by pressure.
You will learn to recognize the nutritional and organoleptic properties of extra virgin olive oil and DOP oil.
Tasting "Dinner Gourmet" from appetizer to dessert including a glass of wine, in the Osteria located inside the farmhouse and the oil mill, with menu based on Cartoceto olive oil.
Discover local traditions and rural life. You will see the original stone millstones from the 1920s in an atmospheric room, where genuine and natural flavors are still produced, just as they were in the days of our grandparents.
You will spend time relaxing in the outdoor garden among vines and olive trees.
