Expert's presentation

The Farm is located in the municipality of Radda in Chianti.

Strictly in the heart of the region of Chianti Classico, on the Roman road between Siena and Florence.Montemaggio figures on a map of the "Capitani di parte Guelfa" dating back to 1560 kept in the Podesteria of Radda.

An altitude that ranges from 450 to almost 600 meters above sea level. Naturally, an area characterized by vineyards, olive groves, forests and an organic chianti winery.

The vineyards occupy an area of about 8 hectares. They are almost all located in the center of the estate and face southwest. Specifically, on soils rich in Galestro, Alberese and Arenaria. Most of the vineyards are planted with Sangiovese. There are, of course, portions of other grape varieties for example: Merlot, Pugnitello, Chardonnay, Malvasia Nera and Ciliegiolo.
