The Visit begins with a brief narration of the Company by the guide.

Then it is explained how the best bees are chosen, how they are raised and fed.

To make the insight made by the guide concrete, we move on to a visit to the hives.

At the end of the tour there is a honey tasting accompanied by typical local products.

The Company recommends the tour in the afternoon.

The tour is ideal for a maximum of 8 participants.

Expert's presentation

Honey is a very ancient food, used as early as prehistoric times by our ancestors, who collected it from the hives of wild insects.

Beekeeping probably originated in the Neolithic and was certainly practiced by the Egyptians in the 3rd millennium BC.

This food is produced by bees as a result of reprocessing the sugary substances on which they feed: mainly nectar from flowers, but also honeydew, a sweetish secretion produced by small insects, such as aphids.
