Description
Visiting the islands of Venice will give you an opportunity for a journey into the history, environments and traditions of the Venice lagoon.
From Murano glass to Burano lace to the legends of Torcello, you'll have a deep understanding of Venice through the geography of the lagoon, with the exciting journey on its waters and the storytelling of your guide on board.
The islands of Murano Burano and Torcello are certainly worth a day's visit.

What's included:
- A boat trip lasting approximately 6.5 hours with stops at the main islands of Venice (Murano, Burano and Torcello)
- A guide on board the boat, who speaks English, Italian, German, French and Spanish
- Visit to a glass factory in Murano with a demonstration by a master glassmaker
What is excluded :
- Lunch
- Entrance ticket to the Torcello basilica (to be paid locally)

Dates on which the field trip undergoes changes:
- 04/09/2022ì Historic Regatta: Only departure from San Marco available, return will be to F.ta Nove
- 18/09/2022 Burano Regatta: Any lunches in Burano or entrance to the Basilica of Torcello will not be sold, we will reverse the islands (the tour will be Murano. Torcello, Burano)
Detailed programme
The Program includes:
- 10.15 pick-up piazzale Roma.
- 10.30 am: tour departure from Piazzale Roma
- 11 a.m.: boarding in front of Cornoldi Barracks in Riva degli Schiavoni (pick-up at 10.50 a.m. for those starting the tour from there). Participants from Piazzale Roma change boats to embark in the islands tour panoramic boat.
- 11:40 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.: Murano tour with glassmaking demonstration
- 13.20 - 15.15: Visit to Burano with lunch possible on site
- 15.30 - 16.30: Visit to Torcello.
- 17.35: arrival in San Marco
- 18:10: arrival in Santa Lucia
