Truffle, Wine & Food Experience
You will participate in a fantastic truffle hunting excursion with the Trifolao who has been cultivating a passion for this prized fruit of the earth for years.
Along the trail, you will discover the tale of the history of the truffle with the anecdotes of the grandfather to finally arrive at the " truffle farm", where the dog becomes the undisputed leader.
He is the one you will have to follow trusting his nose up and down the forest paths in search of the precious tuber.
It will be impressive to then see the enthusiasm of the dog and the truffle hunter when the truffle is finally found, and the delicate work of extracting it without damaging the nature of the underbrush and especially the precious truffle!
At the end of the trail you can visit a Winery and participate in a final Tasting of their Wines.
Finally you can enjoy the Truffle, if found in a restaurant/ trattoria/ farmhouse with a tasting menu.
Equipment needed:
- Individual hiking clothing
- Shoes suitable for uneven and possibly wet terrain.
The Activity can Provide:
- Ability to rent boots with new socks by reservation (payment on site)
- Interpreter (to be paid on site)
What to bring:
- On personal need bring trekking poles. In case of light rain waterproof material.
- In case of heavy rain you can anticipate or postpone the ́event.

The hike takes about 2 hours
