This experience is for you!
Close your eyes and be transported on a journey back in time, inside a Sicilian cheese factory.
Open them and you will be in the place where you can discover and learn how cheeses are made.
A process passed down from cheesemaker to cheesemaker and unchanged for generations.
From milk to the steaming cauldron we will see all the processes of making Sicilian sheep and goat cheese. And you will taste with us the most important varieties of this simple and textured food.
Information
The Activity includes:
- Welcome and tour of the dairy
- Tasting of various cheeses
- Presentation of the cheeses and explanation about the flavors and properties
- Making the cheese (fresh Tuma) by customizing it with the flavors you most like (pistachio, pepper, chili, etc....)
- Bring the prepared cheese wheel along with the master cheesemaker
