Kayak excursion on the Costa dei Trabocchi - Il Bosso Environmental Education Center
An authentic experience by kayak to visit one of the most enchanting corners, not only of Abruzzo, but of the entire Adriatic coast: the Costa dei Trabocchi.
Where these extraordinary fishing machines are framed by fascinating coves and rocky inlets, immersed in a turquoise sea, with wild and spectacular views.
The activity requires a minimum of water confidence.
Please arrive 30 minutes before 'boarding.
Our chaperones are present on their kayaks throughout the water adventure, an initial briefing is given before entering the water.
Total duration: 3h. Route length: approximately 5 km. Both may vary depending on the ability of the participant.
The proposed routes may be subject to change, taking into account the weather and sea conditions at the time of the event.
For safety reasons, max weight 100 kg per guest.
The basic itinerary includes arrival at Punta dell'Acquabella and subsequent return. If necessary, more challenging routes can be organized with arrival to Trabocco della Mucchiola and return (about 7 km).
Recommended clothing: swimsuit, light-colored T-shirt (for protection from the sun), footwear suitable for water activities such as kayak or rubber shoes, sandals or flip-flops are fine however. Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and change.
Equipment provided: life jacket, paddles and waterproof bag for storing one's belongings.
Our kayaks are comfortable and anti-tip.
Minimum number of participants 2, with accompanying person.
Recommended for families: minimum age 4 years.
