Detailed programme
  • We will welcome you among the paths leading to the organic vineyards, olive groves and citrus orchards for an engaging nature walk.
  • The first stop will be in the aroma garden to enjoy a sensory game to discover the main aromatic plants of the Mediterranean and meet the farm animals.
  • We will visit the small wheat field ( in production from April to June) to talk about ears, flours, cereals. Passing through the rows of the vineyard "Frederick II" we will learn about the secrets of the vintners, the characteristics of the soil, and the particularity of the climate.
  • Just a few steps from the vineyard we arrive in front of the winery's baglio to learn about the fascination of farming tools.
  • We enrich this unique experience with a guided tour to discover together the winemaking, aging and bottling process and taste two wines straight from the tank.
  • We move to the farm's premises to have a gastronomic pizza experience.

With "Le mani in pasta" you will be involved in the making and making of pizza among the secrets of rising, the smell of the wood-fired oven and the notes of typical Sicilian music. In the veranda overlooking the vast lawn we will delight the palate with a board of typical products (olives, cheeses, salami) and pizza  freshly baked.

The tasting is dedicated to a versatile, fresh and savory white wine typical of the hill country and a red wine with character and a fruity bouquet. Enjoying freshly baked pizza and learning about products and wines from the organic farm will make this visit to the countryside memorable.

Expert's presentation

My name is Finella: I am a mother of 4 children, wife of a winemaker and entrepreneur in the world of wine and gastronomy.

I studied and worked in Sicily between Palermo, Marsala and had some study and work experience abroad; but the passion for my land prevailed and, together with my husband we decided to bet on the family farm.

I had a dream: to create a place  of relaxation in the middle of the countryside, where you can breathe family air, taste genuine dishes, enjoy good wines, and be in contact with animals and Mother Nature. In 2012, believing strongly in the educational and therapeutic approach of the countryside, I began to transform the family vineyard and olive grove into a "teaching" classroom and created the first Educational Farm in the area. A year later I accidentally approached the wonderful world of bees and since then I became so passionate that I created an apiary, became a beekeeper and raise 7 families of bees;  I welcome guests from all over to share this growing passion. But taking care of endangered insects was not enough for me and I ask for a fostering of a little donkey from Pantelleria to the Region of Sicily: "Quercia" arrives on the farm and from there I buy more donkeys; seeing my guests (big and small) happy to spend time on the farm leads me to take horses, chickens, rabbits, baby goats and other docile and tame animals.

But the other great passion, the passion for the land, the vineyards leads me to build the winery  and produce authentic wines that are an expression of our territory. We make a vineyard in the hills for carriage rides, complete a tasting room among barrels and barriques . For 10 years I have been cultivating this dream and see it come true day by day and I would like to share it with you!
