Unique experience discovering the Folgaria Dragon!

The work, more than 6 meters high and 7 long, is part of a project to enhance the wood of the Avez del Prinzep, the tallest silver fir tree in Europe that died right in Lavarone in 2017.

The realization of Marco Martalar dominates the woods of Alpe Cimbra from Lavarone and will soon be the starting and ending point of the thematic path "Lavarone Green Land" which will involve other amazing installations.

The goal of the project is for a thematic pathway in green aimed at the valorization, in addition to Prinzep, of the material recovered from the forests affected by storm Vaia.

The wood used in the making of the work has not been treated and for this very reason the mighty Dragon as time and years go by will gradually disappear, fully espousing the sculptor's philosophy related to the natural concept of "death and decomposition."
